Five years ago, Prince George’s County Memorial Library in Maryland decided to manage their library more efficiently by implementing, Savannah, OrangeBoy’s Intelligent Library Management Suite, to measure, manage and market their library. Since then they have implemented many cutting-edge efforts including:
Monitoring customer activity and movement during branch renovations;
Implementing OrangeBoy’s Risk Index to align early literacy services with areas of greatest need;
Increasing community impact by promoting library services through targeted messaging;
Tracking usage activities beyond print circulation, including Wi-Fi and meeting room use by card number;
Allocating resources by measuring demand for services based on usage by hour, activity, and location; and
Collecting customer feedback through a weekly Net Promoter Score (NPS) survey to randomly selected customers.
