Are you a good problem solver?  Or, if you are like most of us, do you ignore the problem, only to see it pop up again, even more daunting than before?  Daniel Rosh, Program Manager for Continuous Improvement at the Motorists Insurance Group in Columbus will provide a practical, hands-on approach to solving problems utilizing continuous improvement principles.   

About the Speaker:  Daniel has more than 30 years’ experience in business analysis, one-on-one coaching, and organizational change management with organizations including Motorists Insurance Group and Cardinal Health. He holds a Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma (LSS).

Library leaders will talk about the challenges and opportunities facing the communities they serve.  

Jim Staley, Community Relations and Planning Director from Mid-Continent Public Library (MO), will share results of a levy that resulted in an increase of $9.5 million to the annual budget to build and renovate libraries across their service area.  

Christine Feldman, Marketing and Communications Director for Anne Arundel County Public Library (MD), will present on their public school outreach with student cards and targeted messaging to introduce library services to public school students.
